Welsh rock group Lost Prophets will be playing at The Metro on Tuesday February 28, touring on the back of their most recent release The Betrayed. Since 1997 the group has released four studio albums, with their singles Last Train Home and Rooftops reaching in the top ten hits on the UK Singles Chart. Having sold around 5 million albums worldwide, the group are ready to travel down under to bring us an explosive rock show, supported by Kids in Glass Houses and Versa Emerge.

South Californian 4-piece rock act System of a Down will be playing a sideshow on February 28 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on top of headlining the highly anticipated Soundwave Festival. Since 1994 SOAD have released five studio albums, had four Grammy nominations. The group went on a break between 2006 and 2010, returning with a bang last year by hitting the European festival circuit.  Now they’re coming back down under to impress us with their insane and wonderfully chaotic live show.

Considered to be one of the world’s greatest party acts, Girl Talk is embarking on an Australian Summer Tour. Playing on the Big Day Out stage next Thursday, as well as an all ages Sydney show at The Enmore, January 25. Infamous for this speed sampling, Girl Talk (Gregg Gillis) arrives on our shores from Pittsburg USA, cramming as many party grooves into every moment. Gillis fuses together his own crazy mix of current smashes, rock, hip-hop, pop, 90’s alternative. Girl Talk will be supported by punk retro Sydney act Royal Headache. Head here for gig details.
