What was the first band you saw live? What'd you learn from them? The first time I saw someone live was Wire MC back at survival day I was blown away to see a brother painted up traditional style, spittin' rhymes on stage and puttin' our culture into hip hop music. I was amazed by Wires show, I never would have thought it would be me up there in just a few years. Wire has taught me a lot, he taught me to stay strong and to neva sell out. What was the first gig you ever played like? The first gig was really good pretty big for my first one. It was Bunadanons Arthur Boyd Trust 15th birthday, once again I was with Wire MC. Wire encouraged me to perform, he had heard my music and believed I had the drive and passion to push my message so he gave me ten minutes out of his show. After that I never stopped I have done over a hundred performances now been on tv, radio and traveled heaps and I'm gettin' better each time Got any pre-gig rituals? I just zone out sit quietly, stare into my hands and ask my wifey to buy me food and drinks haha i love her If you could play with any band, dead or alive and anywhere in the world, who would it be? Yothu Yindi I love the music that they used to make. I listened to it a lot when I was a kid I loved seein' my people express our culture through art, music, dance, acting and painting. I had the pleasure of meeting Mandawuy Yunupingu last week! What are you most excited about, for playing the Indent Ten Year Tour? I am excited to play the Sydney show of the Indent Ten Year Tour because I support what they do. Music and culture kept me off the streets, a lot of the people I grew up with have been in and out of jail a few have passed away and a lot are drinkers, so yeah, I support Indent in what they are doing.  I  like Indent because they gave me the gig supporting one of Australia's best, Urthboy. Find him on Myspace, or keep an eye open for his debut EP recorded with Whichway. Sienna Skies
Sienna Skies are a 6-piece Experimental/Post Hardcore band from Sydney. They have been very active in the all ages scene, and have performed alongside many big name acts. They will be hitting the road very soon, so we jumped in on the opportunity to interview them. Check out what the dudes had to say.

Who are Sienna Skies? Sienna Skies are a Experimental Post-Hardcore act from all over NSW, we consist of Singer Steven Faull, Drummer Luke Ziomek, Matthew Wells on keys, Joshua Wade on bass with Nicholas Musgrave and Michael Sankey on guitar. We started out early 2007 with a slightly different line-up but soon found members who were equally dedicated and musically talented and have been as we are now for almost two years. What inspired the name? Our former bass player came up with the idea, sienna is a very dull brown boring colour, this is a metaphor for life in a way, so we aim to break out of this and do something different in our lives. Describe your sound. Our sound manages to cover multiple genre’s including Pop punk, Rock, Metal, Hardcore, Electro and even pop. We try our best to use the best elements of these genres through our songs wether it be a catchy hook, a sing along chorus, a big breakdown or some technical guitar/drum work. Who are your influences, and from where do you draw inspiration for your music? We all listen to a huge variety in music but when it comes to writing we tend to write stuff we would enjoy to play. You have played heaps of gigs in the past and it looks like you’re on tour soon. What is your most memorable gig? Where was it and what made it memorable? For me I would have to say playing Hypefest this year at Baulkham hills was an awesome experience, we have played Hypefest before as a support to The Getaway Plan but to be able to headline it and for the amount of kids that came out and enjoyed it was really something. It was probably one of the biggest Australian crowds we have played to and to have them all singing along was insane. We are about to head out on the road for roughly three months, first in support of Thy Art Is Murders, then on our own Headline tour (“The Feel It Cuz Tour”) in which we take our good mates The Bride. We are really excited as these tours will take us to every state, some we will even visit up to three times! And the good news is the majority of shows are all age shows. How important is playing All Ages gigs? All ages gigs really are the best gigs, the majority of gigs we play are in-fact all age gigs and we love that. The kids always come out and have a good time, and most importantly its at these shows when the kids get up and move and sing along, I think I can safetly say if it wasn’t for all age shows we proberly wouldn’t be a band and deffiently wouldn’t be able to tour. What are your thoughts about the All Ages scene in New South Wales? How do you think we can make it better for underage young people? The all ages scene in New South Wales has taken a huge battering of late venue wise, with Hype Central recently shutting down but still probably has the strongest scene on the east coast. We are lucky enough to have groups like Feint Entertainment and Strike Hard bookings focusing on local shows and constantly looking for new venues to have shows at. The young people in NSW also seem to go to a show whenever possible which at the end of the day keeps the scene alive. You’ve shared the stage with some big name acts. Can you tell us a little more about who you’ve performed with? Are there any quirky stories about the other bands? We have been lucky enough to play with bands such as Underoath, Switchfoot, Blessed by a Broken Heart, Haste the Day, The Getaway Plan, The Amity Affliction, The Red Shore and Closure in Moscow. So far everyone we have met has been an awesome dudes but im afraid if I were to tell you any quirky stories they wouldn’t take us on tour again! You recently toured New Zealand. What’s it like to be on tour in another country? What are the dynamics like in the band? Did you all manage to keep out of each other’s hair, having to spend nearly every waking hour together whilst on tour? We have been over to New Zealand twice now and have had a lot of fun over there. New Zealand isn’t all that different to Australia culturally but we still learnt a lot going over there. People compare being in a band to being a family and its very much true except for the fact you can choose your band mates not your family, we are lucky enough to be good mates and get on really well, we do give each other plenty but its all in fun and we know each other well enough to know when its time to give it a rest. What advice would you give to young and aspiring bands? Everything takes time and work, and by doing the work it makes everything you achieve so much better so don’t be afraid to book your own tour and get yourselves out there, sitting back and hoping someone will do it for you won't get you anywhere. We Are Volcanoes

Buy amoxicillin online cheap, The band is super quirky, even their myspace is full of clever quirks. A clever quirk, can one really be clever. Taking a quote from their MySpace profile, We Are Volcanoes 'erupted' back in 2008. Describing themselves as a 'natural three-piece jigsaw puzzle, where to buy cheap amoxicillin,' their eccentricity extends beyond their personality and creeps in and out of their music.

Melody Forghani recently interviewed the guys, check out what they had to say.

Who are the guys behind We Are Volcanoes and how did ya’ll meet, buy amoxicillin online cheap.
Mr. Buy amoxicillin online without prescription, Dean: A guitar wielding "axe" murderer, a self conscious extremely technical introvert drummer and a 17 year old virgin. We met on an online dating site that compared our compatibility resulting in a 100% match for a perfect three-pronged love triangle.
Tim (serious answer): Dean is my brother, a technical genius, half machine half man; even his footsteps would challenge a metronome in consistency and efficiency, Maine ME Me. . Buy amoxicillin online cheap, Our (German) blood grants us the ability to read each others minds and get to say completely inappropriate things about each others personal faults and get away with it. (I told the audience at our first show he was suffering from a bad case of diarrhea. It was really funny because I wasn’t lying) Dean wears a mask when performing to conceal his identity – a safety precaution for future fame, even though he is usually to busy owning noobs on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to leave the house. Recently graduating from Sydney, Køb discount amoxicillin, he has been currently working in Perth as mechanical engineer returning to Sydney at the start of next year.
Yakov displays obsessive behavior, his life evolving around the lower frequencies, Russian, his six-pack and what is for dinner. He out skills both of the rest of the band and could probably bench press you and your entire family, buy amoxicillin online cheap. Warning though, farmacia amoxicillin baratos, Yakov does not use a pick to play the bass, we are sorry if this might offend some people from Sydney’s independent scene. Yakov was two grades below myself in school; I asked the young talent to lend me a hand in my HSC music pieces forming a fiery bond over the wanky riffs of Zack Wylde and Joe Satriani.

I have a curly fringe and play the guitar on the toilet. Buy amoxicillin overnight delivery, Our track Aeroplanes, the first song I ever wrote, was 80% written sitting on the toilet multitasking. Buy amoxicillin online cheap, I want to make you dance. This is strange writing about myself so I am going to stop now.

How did you come up with the band name. Is it based on fiction, amoxicillin pills. Or are you all actually volcanoes.
We Are Volcanoes… it was simply better than our original choice i.e, buy amoxicillin online cheap. The Three Erupting Mountain Tops. Some people describe us as a violent eruption of fiery embers and earth, so yes we are. Arizona AZ Ariz. , The name is basically describing the emotional nature of mankind; we are unpredictable and dangerous things.

Describe your sound in 3 words
Dean: Electric, isometric and concentric. Buy amoxicillin online cheap, Yakov: Alternative sexy Robots.
Tim: Chk chk boom.

Dragonball Z is noted as one of the bands influences, what else inspires your music, För amoxicillin online.
We are inspired by many a band/artist/original movie soundtrack and of course television animated series, but most notably we are inspired by those trying to push the barriers and bring something new, technically brilliant and complex yet enjoyably accessible.

If you could choose to play with any band, Cheap amoxicillin no prescription, anywhere, who and where would it be.
Dean: Supporting, PVT, buy amoxicillin online cheap. Location, my bedroom.
Tim: Lawrence Pikes drumming makes us all a little bit aroused not to mention Richards awesome hair and Dave Miller’s nerdy dance moves. I am obsessed, amoxicillin without a prescription.
Yakov: I have no clue, but I know for a fact it would take place in Dean's Bedroom.

Buy amoxicillin online cheap, Do you remember the bands first ever gig. What has been your most memorable performance so far.
Of course, Amoxicillin discount, we have only ever as a purified threesome played a handful of shows, three exactly. Our first full set was at a World Vision 40 Hour Famine launch party; Stormtrooper children wearing tuxedos were losing control on the dance floor. The most memorable so far was playing with Philadelphia Grand Jury and getting paid money.

Has your music/the band evolved at all since you first started out in 2008, buy amoxicillin online cheap.
It has indeed, our music started with a mish-mash of ideas similar to a Christian boys wedding night, cheap generic amoxicillin, but after a year and a bit of being married we have found out how everything works, finding a solid direction with new material being produced always outclassing our last effort.

What has been your biggest challenge as a band.
Mr. Cheap amoxicillin online cheap, Dean living in Perth for 2010 has been really difficult for us, we have been all very musically frustrated, but when he is home for a week or two we can relieve our selves. Buy amoxicillin online cheap, The neighbors and our parents are enjoying the quiet in the meantime.

You’re lined up to play one of FBi’s Sydney Sounds Like events, ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’. How do you feel about playing alongside some of Sydney’s best bands, Missouri MO Mo. .
We feel privileged and slightly aroused, we were not expecting to land a show of this size at all, how it all works is beyond us. What a great opportunity to rub shoulders with the pros while also supporting Sydney's most cherrished FM icon FBi. We are counting the sleeps, buy amoxicillin online cheap.

Have you played any all ages gigs before. If so, do they feel any different to an 18+ gig.
Due to Yakov's young age we haven't been able to play 'many' 18+ shows, however the main difference to note is the crowd participation and their love of money. On a few occasions bribery has been used to get people moving. Buy amoxicillin online cheap, You’ll be surprised what a ten-dollar note can do.

Has FBi radio played a significant role in the exposure of your music. How important is community radio for emerging artists. Would you agree that FBi has a very unique and significant role in Sydney music, arts and culture.
Before we knew FBi existed we would have said having our songs played on the radio was next to impossible. MySpace is good, but getting played on air is exposure that would not be achievable without FBi. Community radio is a stepping-stone for emerging creating a place for artists to be discovered by labels and other musical powers. FBi is the epicenter of musical discovery, without them most of us would be ignorant of Sydney’s rich creative culture.

So two sets of brother from Powerage. Suprax drug, What are the dynamics like. Buy suprax online, Do you always get along, or is there a bit of sibling rivalry?
Being in a band for five and half years, I think, says that we have great dynamics. But at the same time, being in a band with your brother means a squabble is bound to come up now and then, but thankfully a disagreement is a rarity for us. I mean, we haven't had any full blown fist fights like the British band, Oasis, buy suprax, as of yet, which is definitely a good thing.

You guys started out as an AC/DC cover band- how much has this transferred into your current music. How would you describe your sound, and who are your influences?
Up until around this time last year, Suprax antibiotic, the odd comparison to AC/DC was common, and expected really, event though we never got an AC/DC vibe from our music. But being compared to them is far from an insult, and it never bothered us, buy suprax online. Since this time last year, our sound have been evolving with Zac and myself's (Ben) song writing methods, taking a more melodic approach and exploring different chord progressions and sounds.
We have been gaining influence from bands like Jet, suprax glass, Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the Foo Fighters without abandoning our classic rock roots and we are more than pleased with the direction of our sound at the moment.
I would say, our current sound is alternative/classic rock...or something like that. Suprax generic, Genres are always so hard to define.

Where have you played and what was your most memorable gig? Buy suprax online, We have probably played around a few hundred gigs in our career so far, but the most memorable would be playing at the Scala theatre in Londong, England, in 2008 for the Grand Final of the Global Battle of the Bands. We met 37 bands form 37 different countries and ended up coming 2nd in the world and it was an amazing experience that we'll never forget.

Wow, you guys certainly aren't strangers to playing big audiences. Tell us a bit about the time you performed on the Footy Show.
We have played in front of several large audiences before, which we are really thankful for and the Footy Show was the first one in 2005, when we had only just started, order suprax.
Our good mate, James, was the singer at the time and we were all aged from 9 - 14. It was a great experience and we got to meet artists like Spiderbait, Guy Sebastian and Pete Murray, as well as all the guys from the show, buy suprax online.
Its always funny to us that a lot of people remember us or know us from the show, which really proves how much television exposure can bring. Suprax lupin, Congratulations on your win at the Grand Final of this year's YouthRock. Can you share a bit about your experience of the band competition?
We entered YouthRock in 2008, and came 4th- and entered again in 2009 and scored 2nd. It was a great experience, so we decided to enter again this year. Buy suprax online, Competitions are always pretty intense and nerve racking, but we all felt pretty relaxed this time because we know what to expect.
After we played, we were feeling confident and pleased with out performance, buy no prescription suprax, but with competitions you can never predict the outcome, so you always have to keep an open mind>
We only had our usual every Tuesday band practice, going into this competition, but the first time we entered, I think, Suprax online, we were practicing a lot.
The best part about YouthRock is meeting new people and bands. We have made a lot of friends through YouthRock, and it is also great for networking with managers and agents and what not.

For you, what were the highlights of YouthRock?
Performing on stage, watching the other acts, suprax dosing, meeting new people, catching up with mates from bands and taking out first place at last.

This is definitely a massive boost to a start in your musical careers, buy suprax online. How much has this changed your musical plans. What direction will you take your music now?
Well, the prizes of course are going to help us out in a big way. Suprax cost, Unfortunately we had just come out of the recording studio and had a professional photo shoot before we won the award which was a bit of a bummer. But we are still going to put the prizes to good use and potentially add some new tracks to our upcoming EP, and make it an album instead. Buy suprax online, We are going to keep in good contact with the music industry people we met also, and we'll just keep writing more material and getting our music out there and hopefully we can be touring overseas in the not too distant future.

So you've already taken your music overseas- to the Global Battle of the Bands for example. Who are some bands for whom you have supported. Which one of these gigs were most memorable, and why?
It was most definitely an amazing experience, buy suprax online, one we'll never forget. We have supported bands like Grinspoon, Karnivool, Thirsty Merc, The Screaming Jets and Matchbox 20.
Most definitely the Matchbox 20 gig was the most memorable, because Rob Thomas came up and watched our set and gave us a shout out on stage, buy suprax online. Suprax injection, It was really cool.

What has the response been coming home to the Central Coast. Surely, you have shaken up Maitland High School!
We're actually from Hinton, a small country town not far from Maitland and the response has been overwhelming. All of your friends, family and fans are very proud of us and we really appreciate their support.
Every time we have opened up a newspaper in the past couple of weeks, we have been in it, which is really cool. We even made it on NBN news. Nikk, our bass player, is the only one who atend Maitland High School and they are very proud of the band's achievements.
