FBi Radio’s monthly Music Open Day is going on a roadtrip to Gosford, hitting the Youth Arts Warehouse Saturday 12 November. The community stations open day has been running monthly since it’s inception in 2003, with FBi wanting to keep the station accessible to local musicians. The open days usually attract around 30 local bands and solo artists each month, welcoming in nearly 3000 musicians to open days thus far.
This week FBi will head to the Central Coast, inviting locals to come along and participate in the Music Industry 101 panel. The panel aims to educate all on everything music business, from booking shows and getting publicity, to scoring airtime and getting paid. What’s more, Sydney indie rock trio The Paper Scissors will be participating in a musical show-and-tell at the Music Open Day!
MusicNSW and FBi representatives will be hanging around after the panel too, so be sure to mingle, ask questions and give out your demos.
