Noisy by Choice has a vibrant history of showcasing young musicians and local creative talent. Noisy by Choice will be creating magic again this year by working with local up and coming bands, and solo artists, bringing them to the Burwood community.
Noisy by Choice is a collective of young people within Burwood Council that works on all ages events. This year Noisy by Choice will once again provide new bands and artists the chance to be heard and chance to compete for music industry prizes. They will be running their first ever talent quest to be held as a part of Burwood Spring Festival this Sunday September 18th from 12.30pm – 2.30pm.
Check out AC Joe, This is It!, The Reporters, Michelle Mutyora, Cadillac Place, Amazing Acrobats, Stories for Nothing, The Silhouettes, Funk Formation, Georgia Sallybanks, Colonies, Lauren Majarres, Julian Ball Magic Show, Boogie Wonderland, Matthew Dal Cin, Little Shop of Buble’ and Oliver Lavermicocca as battle to win the judging panels favour as the winner of Noisy by Choice 2011!
The judging panel includes Grant Peters (MusicNSW Indent Advisory Council) with over 6 years experience in independent and emerging arts festivals, James Parish (MusicNSW Indent Advisory Council) with many years experience at the forefront of working with emerging young artists, Cr John Faker (Mayor of Burwood) has been a Councillor for 11 years and the youngest ever Mayor of Burwood at age 27.
Noisy by Choice has been funded through the Indent partnership grants.
