Dates have been announced for YAPA’s 2011 NSW Youth Work Conference. The conference will be held between August 24th & 26th in Surry Hills and is set to ‘inspire, energise, support and connect’ youth sector workers around their professional and personal practice.
The innovative, fun and skills-based conference will feature:
- Inspiring, challenging and thought-provoking addresses by leading experts in young people and their world, such as youth work guru Peter Slattery
- A diverse, engaging and skills-focused program of sessions targeting all levels of youth service provision – from grassroots and volunteers, to service managers and regional planning
- Four ‘Master-classes’ in key areas of the youth work sector, with true ‘masters’ of their arts
- Opportunities to network, build relationships and connections, and make friends, including a specific after-hours informal ‘get together’!
