Growing up in war-torn Sudan, Abaker Athum (a.k.a. Masta One) spent time in Kakuma refugee camp before coming to the Western Sydney suburb of St Marys. Since his arrival in 2003, Abaker has sought to articulate a message of hope to Sudanese and all young people. He blends a socially-aware message with his unique brand of hip-hop. Check out our interview with him.
