Australian Idol graduate, Lisa Mitchell, has won the coveted Australian Music Prize (AMP) for 2010.
Although she was not present at the award ceremony held at the prestigious Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay, her manager was there to accept the novelty sized cheque, made out to Lisa for $30 000. A well-deserved prize, for a young and increasingly popular musician.

The Sydney Youth Symphony are now ready for 2012 registrations and are looking for young musicians and singers who want to become but of an orchestra and make some new friends!
