As Lady Gaga sweeps through NSW on her Monster Ball tour, another day brings another controversy.
We all know how eccentric and extreme she is- she makes this clear in her music videos and her live performances in music award ceremonies such as the Grammys. But reports of children as young as nine years old being taken by their parents to see Lady GaGa’s shows is something of a different matter.
Some of GaGa’s recent stunts on her current tour, have included a video of herself being puked on, her being frottered against on stage, and a whole bunch of profanity blatantly uttered in front of the audience. Now, this is nothing unexpected, but surely, its not up to a regulatory body to decide whether young children should be allowed to see these shows. Ultimately, the decision is made by parents. The general consensus is, if you as a parent are too naive to figure out that GaGa’s shows are not appropriate for kids, then there is seriously something missing in your logic of responsible decision making.
