38 Aussie bands kick off performances today at one of the biggest platforms in the world for the music business.
The South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival is the premier showcase for contemporary music and continues to foster professional and creative growth on an international scale.
Some of our homegrown acts who have taken the time to flaunt their stuff over at the SXSW festival:
- Art vs. Science
- Bliss & Eso
- Philadelphia Grand Jury
- Dappled Cities

The Australian artists will join nearly 2000 international artists over the course of the five-day festival from March 17 – 21.
Our own Partnerships Grants Manager, Meg Williams, is over there right now. I’m certain she’ll send us word of the happenings, maybe once all the excitement has dulled down a bit- but with a festival of this scope and scale, who knows when the euphoria will subside.
