Apple has announced that more than 10 billion songs have been purchased and downloaded on iTunes.
The 10 billionth song that was bought by Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Georgia, was a hit by Johnny Cash, Guess Things Happen That Way.
As part of Apple’s countdown to 10 Billion Songs, Louie will receive a US$10,000 iTunes gift voucher. That’s pretty close to a regular person’s entire collection of music 3 times over! Lucky Louie will be sure to beef up his iTunes library- what will Apple countdown next? 100 Billion songs?
