Indent Archives for February, 2010

Great South Band

Great South Band is a group of young musical performers on a mission to have fun learning about playing songs together. They perform a mixture of catchy original songs and classic pop.

Their own songs draw inspiration from the best pop, soul, country and jazz artists. Their exploration of music at a young age is really quite inspirational- we asked Shenoa and Kian South a few questions, revealing a lot about themselves and their music. More >

The Nest

February 6th @ Level 2/Building 80, 70 Edith Street, St Peters NSW

The 5th installment of ‘The Nest’ series will be held at Megaphon Studios at 7PM Saturday February 6th. The Nest has recently received funding from Music NSW’s 2010 Indent Partnership grant, which will be used to make this particular Nest a little bit extravagant…

The Nest & Plate Captain Frank present Myfanwy’s Stockings: The Clay – an insane freeloading demon taking the guise of a variety evening. Starting inside the studio & spilling out onto the balcony this evening features musical genius & nonsense from Plate Captain Frank, Snagglepuss, Deaf Hedge & Woody Allen Hoo-Haa; stunning art installations of mixed mediums; poetry slamming; a meat & vege friendly BBQ; face painting; & audience Vs performers (@Twister or Nintendo – chosen by draw).

This installation of The Nest is being supported by Music NSW’s Indent partnership program and is being organised, managed and run by The Nest’s youth volunteer team. Check out the following links online for more info:
