This 4 o’clock drop doesn’t really have much to do with music at all. Instead it’s to do with skating. For those of you who don’t know, Jason Lee is a man of many talents. The star of My Name is Earl, and previously of Mallrats, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (as well as a heap of others). But before he became wealthy as an actor, he was a professional skater. And Earl certainly does carve up.

RODNEY MULLEN – If you don’t know the name, you should. The man INVENTED the kickflip! He is pure old school – dark sliding, hand planting, finger flipping goodness and even manages to land half his tricks cross legged. Also check out his knee socks and short shorts. They just don’t do cool like they used to anymore…

DC HOOPS COMMERCIAL – This may have been posted as a drop a while back, but it’s time for a reprise. This is basically the DC Skate team shooting hoops in a skate park… not strictly skating, but some of it is. And it’s way cool anyhoo. Some of the shots they pull off are insane. We just wonder how many hours the camera had to roll to capture them.
