Hey there all you emerging musicians, event organisers, music journalists and other crazy cats interested in the music biz, get yourself to The Loft Youth Venue, Wolfe Street, Newcastle on Saturday October 3 at 12:30 pm for free music industry workshops with some of the Australian music industry’s best and bright and stay for an awesome all ages show featuring some of Newcastle’s favourite young bands starting at 4:30 pm, $10 entry.
As Indent wraps up its annual NSW Save The Scene Tour- a series of free music industry workshops hosted by Indent as well as some of the Australian music industry’s best and brighest they are getting ready to go out with a BANG!
We have a panel of amazing Australian music industry professionals, like Eddie Garvan from The Seabellies, Nicholas Milligan from Reverb Magazine, Marcus Wright from Big Apachee, Glenn Dickie from EMI and Bernadette Ryan an Artist Manager running her own company who are ready and willing to share the tricks of the trade heading to Newcastle for this leg of Save The Scene. The workshop runs from 12:30-3:30pm and is ABSOLUTELY FREE, Just make sure you RSVP to max@musicnsw.com as soon as possible.
After the workshop, Indent is also putting on an awesome all ages show featuring some of Newcastle’s favourite and finest young bands including Indie darlings The Shivering Indies, established rockers Light Noise, Zero Logic with their crazy rock star antics and the awesome sounds of all ages crusaders COTA. Doors open at 4:30pm and entry is $10 on the door.
