So you’ve put on gigs in your local community, you may have even got funding from Indent, your music savvy but need that foot in the door. V Raw and FasterLouder are seeking ONE awesome event organiser to co-ordinate their 2009 Festival Award Ceremony.
Fasterlouder launched The Festival Awards in 2008 as a way of recognising and celebrating the important role that Festivals play in Australian culture. The Festival Awards aim to become the definitive, annual, publicly voted benchmark by which the Australian music festival landscape is measured and this is your chance to be a part of team that makes this happen.

Position: Event Coordinator.
Paid or Unpaid: Unpaid.
Length of contract: 1 month.
Location: Sydney.
Start date – end date: September 15th – October 15th.
Job Description: The event coordinator will assist the Producer of the Festival awards to manage the event held in Sydney on October 15th. Tasks will include: calling suppliers to order goods and services and tracking their delivery, coordinating and work together with production staff at the event, managing the guest list and invitations and organizing timely delivery of marketing material for the event.
Requirements & Preferred experience: Event coordination, supplier liaison, Budget management, event production, guest list management.
Skills & Competencies: Word, Excel, Drivers license.tvr
