Team Indent partnered up with Elefant Traks Label Manager and MC Extraordinaire Urthboy, and made their way out to the Auburn Youth Centre to meet up with a bunch of talented young rappers and producers and talk about the next step. The guys at Auburn have massive talent, that much was easy to see. It takes a lot of determination to keep pushing yourself to get better at your art, and these guys have it in spades. These guys truly embrace the DIY spirit of hip-hop, accessing whatever they can to put their beats together and writing whenever they can. workshop1 As Urthboy said to the guys, hip hop in Australia is not about accent, or about bravado, it's about being truthful and writing as yourself, and making the music that feels right to you. Anything else and you can expect to be cut down very quickly. Western Sydney has a lot of great hip hop talent and we hope to see these guys tearing up stages around town very soon. workshop2
